I love to travel, but I understand first hand that travelling with mobility or intellectual disability can be full of anguish. This is why we specialise in travel for Seniors (who need slow, gentle travel options), travellers who are wheelchair users (through our preferred travel partner “Accessible Travel Solutions”, and with our own tours for young adults with mild to moderate Intellectual Disability, and Specific Learning difficulties.
As an arthritis sufferer, I experienced how much preparation is involved when a person wants to travel with a mobility issue. After taking my electric scooter around Europe, and coping with the exhaustion of managing China with walking sticks I understand that sometimes travel needs to be slower. At Spot On Travel, we understand that our ageing population needs to slow things down a bit, and we can help you plan a holiday that takes into account your individual needs.
Our preferred travel partner “Accessible Travel Solutions” offers International destinations in Europe and the Caribbean. Their range of services includes fully organised tours to day tours and airport transfers. Let us organise your next holiday knowing your disability is no impairment to the joy of travel.
In 2019 Spot On Travel will offer a range of unique holiday experiences for Young Adults with Intellectual Disability. These holidays are designed to allow young adults to gain independence with the peace of mind of knowing support is there to assist with social situations, shopping and sightseeing. Using experienced tour companies and partnering with Disability Support agencies, we have designed bespoke itineraries that cater to a wide range of interests, including touring, cruising and relaxing at luxurious resorts.
We love to travel, and we’d love to work with you to make your own travel dreams come true ….
